Shekinah nestles on the side of a hidden valley in the foothills of Pendle, in rural Lancashire. To get to Shekinah set your Sat Nav to BB12 9LP, travel along Wellhead Rd but do not turn off until you see the Shekinah sign.
FROM BARROWFORD
| Drive through the village of Barrowford as far as the large roundabout just past Nelson College. Go right round the roundabout to the last exit A6068 (signed Padiham/ Clitheroe) Follow the A6068 till you see the signpost for Newchurch / Spenbrook / Barley. Turn right. Take the 2nd turning left (there is an advertising sign on a high wall reading ‘Holgate Bros’ and also a brown ‘picnic’ sign pointing the way) Take the 2nd left – signposted Newchurch / Spenbrook / Barley. Drive up a long hill - over its brow - down through Spenbrook village and up the hill. Just as you enter Newchurch village there is a school on your right. Turn left immediately after the school on to Wellhead Road –Signposted Sabden Fold-- This junction is extremely sharp so you will need to go wide to turn in. Continue along Wellhead Road. Shekinah is approximately 1 mile along this road – look out for the sign on the wall. |
TRAVELLING FROM A WESTERLY DIRECTION
| Take the M65 to junction 8. Turn Left towards Clitheroe. Continue straight on through two sets of traffic lights. Continue along the A6068 for approx 3 miles. Look out for the sign to Newchurch /Spenbrook / Barley. Turn left. Take the 2nd turning left (there is an advertising sign on a high wall reading ‘Holgate Bros’ and also a brown ‘picnic’ sign pointing the way ). Take the 2nd left – signposted Newchurch / Spenbrook / Barley. Drive up a long hill - over its brow - down through Spenbrook village and up the hill.
